This five-day workshop will include both lectures and live therapy demonstrations on the Theory and Methods of Integrative Psychotherapy. Topics that may be covered in the formal teaching include: the theory of motivation, contact and interruptions to contact, the self-in-relationship, relational-needs, ego states, development of life scripts and the script system, functions of behavior, or a developmental perspective.

The live therapy demonstrations and following discussions may focus on a profound understanding of the methods of contact-in-relationship, inquiry, affect and rhythmic attunement, therapeutic involvement, expressive methods, supportive regression, psychotherapy of internal criticism and Introjection, and/or various method of a body oriented psychotherapy. This workshop is designed for psychotherapists and counselors who want to achieve excellence in their profession.

Dr. Erskine will demonstrate, teach, and elaborate on the concepts in Beyond Empathy: A Therapy of Contact in Relationship by Richard Erskine, Janet Moursund, and Rebecca Tautmann, 1999.

The workshop will have professional Spanish/English translation
