Relational and Integrative Psychotherapy

Richard Erskine, Ph.D.
Facilitated by The Haven Counselling Centre

Five Day Workshop: Wednesday, November 15 to Sunday, November 19, 2017
Rothley, Leicestershire, UK

This five-day workshop is for psychotherapists and counselors who want to refine both theoretical understanding and clinical methods in Integrative and Relational Psychotherapy through either supervision or their own personal explorations in psychotherapy. Emphasis will be placed on the clinical application of theoretical concepts, refining clinical skills, effective utilization of relational methods, and the intersubjective use of countertransference, the client’s relational needs, and treatment planning.

Dr. Erskine may demonstrate the in-depth methods of a psychotherapy that integrates the client’s affect, cognition, physiology and behavior. The themes of this residential workshop may include Life Scripts, unconscious pre-reflective patterns, nonverbal communication, introjection and physiological survival reactions. Various methods of working within an involved therapeutic relationship, supportive regression, and/or a caring body therapy may be taught and demonstrated.
