This professional development seminar is designed to provide the experienced psychotherapist with a dialogical forum to discuss the theory and methods of working with the body in a Relational and Integrative Psychotherapy. Richard Erskine will demonstrate the body-therapy methods that facility and in-depth psychotherapy. He will also teach the concepts of physiological self-stabilization, retroflection, Body-Script, and body awareness. We will discuss the ethics of body-psychotherapy and when it is appropriate to touch and when not to touch. Dr. Erskine will lead seminar members in discussions focused on how the concepts and methods can be used in each participant’s clinical practice.
